Honest review about my college.
Placements: Our college is special and has 100% placement. Many steps are taken for placements. More than 200 companies from IT and other branches visit our company for placement. There are four rounds: a non-technical round, a technical round, an interview, and an HR interview. Those who pass all the rounds will be eligible for an interview for a package, and those who get the packages have to go for internships. More than 1,000 people get offer letters from more than 200 companies, and most packages are about 20 lacs, 30 lacs, and 2013.
Infrastructure: I chose the hostel, and the hostel mess was very good. There are two messes in the hostel, for the first floor and the ground floor. First-floor students have lunch and breakfast on the first floor, and ground-floor students on the ground floor. The hostel fee was 8,140. To apply for the hostel, you have to go to the hostel office in the college. Those who apply for the hostel first get the first rooms, and after that, rooms are assigned in priority order. Those who pay last should take the remaining rooms. The infrastructure has four floors and two blocks. Each block has around 92–99 rooms, and each room fits two students. Cupboards and a system are also there. Window ventilation is good in the corridors, and Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: The good aspects of our college are the good faculty. The rating I would give our faculty is 5 out of 5. Our college environment is so good, friendly, and has trees all over the place. The ambiance and infrastructure of the college are so good that they motivate you to study and increase your knowledge.
Other: The fee structure per year for the college is 120,000, and the COMEDK entry fee is 254,000. The donation for admission through payment in the management quota is 1.6 million, and it is increasing nearly every year. Students admitted this way have to pay 300,000 per year. The fee structure varies according to caste. And there are scholarships for meritorious students.

SIT: Brilliance in Education and Placements.
Placements: The placements in our college are very good as it provides almost 100% placements to everyone. This college has a separate training and placement department that will train you for placements. The highest package last year was 32 LPA, the average package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. ORACLE, INFOSYS, and TCS are our top recruiters. More than 50% of the students got internships in our college, with top roles in software engineering and web development.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is very good, with AC in almost all the classrooms and labs. The Wi-Fi connection in the classrooms is also good. The quality of food available in our mess is good to average. They provide paneer, ice cream, and everything, with food available throughout the week. However, the Wi-Fi is very weak in the hostels, so you have to use your SIM mobile data. Compared to other colleges, the overall hostel is very good for the fees paid, as the fee is only 80,000 per annum.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very good and soft, but some of them are very rude and create their own rules because it is an autonomous college. They are highly qualified, and their teaching is also good. They have great knowledge in their field. The curriculum is relevant, but it is very strict, as there is a minimum eligibility criterion for assignments and quizzes. We have to score 40% in each aspect (assignments, quizzes, and internals) to be eligible for the semester-end examination. The semester exams are very strict.
Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in AIML, coding, and machine learning. This course is very much suitable for me, and the curriculum and course levels are also relevant. I don't think there are any ways to improve our course. The fests are average because they conduct classes even during the first half of the day, which is very bad for students as they want to enjoy the festivities. The crowd is good as it is not overcrowded like other colleges. The campus is evergreen, and they provide SSP scholarships.

Review of Siddaganga Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements are usually good as long as you are in a good branch. In 2021, the highest package was 41 LPA, which was given by Intuit. In 2022, it is reduced to 31 LPA, which was given by Oracle. So as long as you are an above-average student, you will get the placement. But if you want to have a top catch, you must work hard, learn coding, attend hackathons and make unique projects.
Infrastructure: First of all, keep in mind that this is an old college so do not raise the bar too high before coming here. The infrastructure is quite old, except for some buildings that were built later. In simple terms, I do not recommend it to anyone. The food is pathetic and the hostel is very hygienic.
Faculty: Personally, in my department, which is ECE, teachers are very strict. If you even come 3 minutes late to the class, the teacher will not allow you, and since the college has a strict 85% attendance policy, it would become a big problem for you afterwards. You can generally leave up to four classes, depending on the credit of the course.
Other: The college has clubs that provide coding competitions almost every month, which will help in developing coding skills that will eventually help you in your placement. The fest is below average, and the music played is mostly in the regional language. The campus has a lot of greenery, and it is huge. You can get a scholarship here if you are a top performer in the entrance exam that you took. There are also sports activities that happen. Cricket is the most popular, followed by basketball and football.

The green ambience of college improves your study quality.
Placements: The biotechnology department had a 40% placement rate. The highest package was approximately 5-6 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was approximately 3-4 Lacs per annum. The top roles offered were analyst, trainee, toxicologist, and microbiologist. However, our field requires higher studies, so students are encouraged to pursue a Masters and contribute to research.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good, the labs are well maintained and have proper teaching facilities, the classrooms are good, and the library is well maintained and has a good selection of books. The medical facility in the college is good. The canteen is good, sports and games are very good, and a gym is also available.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and highly professional, and the teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum includes not only theory but also encourages practical and hands-on knowledge. The difficulty level is moderate, with a pass percentage of 75%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn DNA Fingerprinting. The best thing about the course is that it improves the research-oriented mindset of the students. The course also encourages students to get involved in startup ideas, which is a great way to learn and apply what they have learned. The events and fests are top-notch, and I have no doubt about that. In our department, we conduct seminars and invite industry professionals to share their ideas.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology- all you need to know.
Placements: For the year 2024, almost 90% got placed. The highest CTC offered was 31 LPA by Oracle, and the average CTC was around 8–9 LPA . Good companies visit for campus placements. This year, companies like Sabre, Morgan Stanley, Andhra Pradesh Moller, Philips, Tally, Junglee Games and many more have visited for internships and full-time offers. Also, in the second year, VISA visited to hire interns and offered a 6-month internship to some students. The top roles offered are SDE and data engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity except for the playground, and the library is divided into two parts: one is the annexure, which has two floors, and the other is the main library, from which we issue books. The classrooms are well maintained; each classroom has a projector and digital screens for presentations. The hostel could be way better; it is very bad in terms of food. There are 4 hostels, of which 3 are being used currently. The hostel has well-furnished rooms that are a bit old-fashioned, but they are painted every year. The food is very bad, so some people have also opted for rented flats nearby the college. The canteen and medical facilities are good. For sports, there are a lot of courts: two volleyball courts, two basketball courts, one tennis court, and one huge playground, which has football, cricket, and a hockey field in it. Also, for cricket, practice nets are there, along with a match pitch. Indoors, there are two gyms, two table tennis tables, and two badminton courts. The ground has a pavilion too, which is beautiful.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are qualified; some of them are from IITs and NITs, and the way of teaching is very good. I have remembered most of the things I've been taught. Doubts are always welcome by teachers, and it leads to interesting brainstorming sessions sometimes. The course curriculum is the latest; since the college is autonomous, the course portion is variable and updated according to industry standards. The semester exams are moderate to difficult. PYQs help a lot in the semester-end exams. The passing percentage is above 90%.
Other: I had a keen interest in computers and cybersecurity when I was in 11th grade. So I chose to go with information science. The best things about the course are the wide range of subjects we are taught and the chronological order of understanding the world of computers. I wish the semester duration was a bit fixed so that we could get more time off from college; we only got 15 days off max in 3 years. The main festival of the college is named HALCYON, which happens every year, and there are a lot of clubs in the college that conduct various events. There are two management clubs, Pathfinder and Avalanche, that conduct freshmen events, which are really fun. The crowd is large, but find a group of friends that you vibe with. The college campus is surrounded by lush greenery, and it looks amazing when it rains. About the scholarship opportunities, those are offered in the second year by the department.

Join SIT for placements, not for a good college life.
Placements: Mostly, 85 percent of students are placed in SIT. However, only the upper branches, up to ECE, have a placement rate of 90 percent. Branches below ECE only receive a 60 percent placement rate. Top recruits in SIT include Redbus, Oracle, Texas Instruments, Comvault, Junglee Rummy, TCS, and Infosys. Almost 60 percent of students receive internships here. The highest placement offered is 34 LPA from Comvault, and the lowest is 4.2 LPA from TCS.
Infrastructure: Almost each branch has its specific department building. The classes and campus are well-equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. Hostels are not very good and are not to be appreciated. The mess food is awful, and if you are from North India, you will spend a significant amount of time eating outside the hostel. Wi-Fi is only available for 4-5 rooms per floor. Medical facilities are limited to paracetamol. However, there are plenty of options for sports, including table tennis, badminton, a well-equipped gym, football, cricket, basketball, and tennis grounds.
Faculty: The curriculum is outdated, and the faculty are very rude. They focus solely on studies. To achieve good grades in the semester, be mindful of the limited facilities. The teaching quality is moderate. The curriculum is outdated, so you will need to learn many things on your own. The semester exams are relatively easy; you just need one night to prepare.
