{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Placement Cell Assistance* The Placement Cell assists students in getting placed by inviting companies to the campus, facilitating interviews, and providing training to enhance employability.* Companies mainly recruit CSE students, while non-CSE students have limited options, leading to complaints from students about the placement cell's limitations.* Despite these challenges, some students reported positive experiences with the placement cell, citing successful placements and internship opportunities.* A small percentage of students (~20%) reportedly secured placements, with the highest salary package being INR3 LPA and the lowest being INR1.40 LPA.* Some students felt that the college should invite more companies, especially those recruiting non-IT students, to increase placement opportunities.* Others appreciated the efforts of the placement cell, stating that they had helped secure placements despite limited opportunities.Overall, while the placement cell faces challenges in securing widespread employment opportunities, it still plays a crucial role in helping some students find placements. Efforts to expand recruitment possibilities and provide additional support to students could further enhance the placement process.
