Location:
SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) is a comfortable 7 minute and 15-rupee rickshaw ride from Nerul Railway Station (Harbour Line) in Navi Mumbai. Additionally the fifteen rupees will most probably get split amongst 3 as youre bound to someone heading to either your college or the one next to it- DY Patil. Although a gentle walk to the college is also an option, there are hardly any takers.
Infrastructure:-
SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) is part of a bigger campus which also houses the engineering and the commerce, science and arts colleges. The campus is impressive and well-maintained. The MBA department has pretty decent Infrastructure already and a lot of revamp work is still underway. Auditoriums, computers, lab equipment and Wi-Fi are all in place and students have little to complain about, one thing being the occasional indiscipline in the library due to fellow students. Hostel facilities are available and are fantastic too but most students being locals, they aren’t fully utilized.
Fees & Placements:-
SIES College of Management Studies (SIES COMS) charges Rs. 4 to 4.5 lakh as fees for the 2-year MMS program. The fees for the PGDM program are somewhat higher.
Placements, in turn, are appreciable. The college easily manages to place over 90% of the students with packages ranging between Rs.4 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh per year. The pay package offered to PGDM Pharmaceutical Management and Biotechnology Management students is a little lesser.
Faculty:-
Students do not hold too many grudges against their faculty. They are fond of their teachers and seem happy and satisfied with the teaching. Visiting faculty and guest lecturers are fantastic too.
Seminars & Industry Interaction:
Seminars are very frequent, in fact a lot of them are conducted on weekends, and they get 100% attendance as they are interesting and intellectually stimulating. Corporate interactions are held every Saturday where CEOs and Managers from various companies address the students.
Crowd & Campus Life:
About one fourth of the students have had work-experience at reputed multi-nationals. Others are freshers. Campus life is chilled out and the crowd is refreshingly above average. To break the monotony from formal clothing, casuals are allowed on Thursdays. Attendance is strict and professors are said to taunt irregular students. Everyone has to have over 80% attendance or the compensation is extra assignments.
Festivals:
Virtualities is the annual festival.

There is certain weightage given to the marks secured in the entrance exams, apart from that there is holistic approach for selection procedure like GDPI is conducted and thereafter the candidate is evaluated and selected.

Chances are there. There is a balanced weight to both GDPI and your entrance exam marks. If you score good marks in GDPI then your entrance exam will not matter as much.
