Among the best engineering colleges in Pune, Sinhagad College of Engineering ranks well but is not at the very top. As per India Today and NIRF rankings, the highest ranking of all the engineering colleges in Pune belongs to the College of Engineering, Pune, followed by institutes such as MIT World Peace University and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. Sinhagad College of Engineering is ranked at about the 10th rank in Pune and 109th nationally according to NIRF rankings. Yet, it provides a diversity of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and has developed quite a good track record in terms of placements; however, it has to compete with more renowned colleges in the vicinity. So, though the college Sinhgad College of Engineering is really good and gives excellent opportunities, it can't be said to be the "best" engineering college in Pune considering its peers and their ranking.
