I am satisfied with this college in all aspects.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in our course. Almost 50% of students get internships from our course. The top courses offered in our courses are civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Satisfied with the college, and I felt much comfortable with the lecturers and environment.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed every year. 4-7 LPA is the average salary package offered. Adobe, Amazon, Infosys, Bosch, Accenture, IBM and Cisco are some companies that came to our college. The students are provided with some training under Cisco. Our college has a tie-up with Cisco.

If your really from Chitradurga then it's okay to join.

Placements: No placement opportunity for mechanical engineers. But mass recruitment activities and poll campus drive available for some times you can crack it. If you are really talented then definitely you will survive any where in the nation. Try to work hard.

The college is good for who those study only for the certificate.

Placements: 1: Placements are arranged from the college but very less. 2: Salary between 20000 to 25000 and only 1 to 3 members got the job. 3: no top companies came for placements. 4: machine operator for mechanical course is the role. Students have to look on their own for internships as the college will not provide any.

The faculty members are good, but the campus placements are poor.

Placements: The college is good. The teaching staff is well-experienced and supportive. They support a lot during projects and seminars. But the campus is poor, and job opportunity is poor. I have attended two interviews at my college, and from them, I got selected for one company, but I didn't get an offer letter. I have contacted the placement officer but he told you can contact the company directly, so I have contacted the company, but they did not respond to my call and email. Most of the students were ...

Good college for local residents.

Placements: Nothing can be commented on placements. No company visited the college and offered placements to my branch. All companies visited the college for IT recruitment. I am struggling to get a better job. It's better to join any reputed colleges where we can get placements for all branches.

Life in SJMIT college, chitradurga.

Placements: There are no placements provided in our college, and there is no campus selection. The students of 2017 batch got placed in different companies, but not from the college, they got the placements on their own. If you want to get better placements, choose another college.

It is a more preferable college.

Placements: About the placements, we got placement offer in the startup companies which have a package of Rs. 2 LPA as average. The companies which visited the campus are the Srishti, ABC academy etc., for the profiles of Java developer. We didn't get an internship here. It is a pleasure to attend the placement training and campus interview in our college. Also, the quality of placement services and placements team is really good.

I am satisfied as it helps students for their better future.

Placements: The college has no placements. Only, the campus interviews are provided for IT courses. There will be no placements for non-IT courses. They should support campus placements in our college. Many of the colleges give placements, but in our college, they ignore it.

A satisfied engineer from SJM Institute of Technology, Karnataka.

Placements: The college faculty is good enough to call some reputed companies for the placements. Since the IT department is going through a low time, the number of placed students is not too satisfactory, but their efforts are appreciable. This institute may be referred for its quality knowledge where all the day you will feel the engineering environment.

SJMIT college - good and average college.

Placements: The placements offered for our batch is worst. We went out for the placements. The highest salary offered by the companies is 1.8 LPA. Only startups and call centres visit the campus. There is no internship in our college. So it's better they improve their placement method.

Chitradurga is a small city and SJMIT is the only engineering college in there for now. Many other colleges have been proposed to be opened in the near future. Talking about SJMIT, the college is good in terms of faculty and the fees the charge but not the ROI. Infrastructure not very attractive but covers almost every necessary blocks of study. Many of the Lecturer have more than 20 years of experience in teaching. Placements when I was studying was zero. Since the city was small and there was ...

College is at an average level. It’s the only college that has been established in Chitradurga town. College faculty members are very good and kind in nature. College placements are nil. No placement will be given. Even though it has 35 years of establishment it lags behind the placements, campus. Hostel blocks are also not good. I don't recommend this college

Not good compared to campus facilities and quality of education is also not good enough. As per my experience it is just average. Only in terms of fees and cost of living we can choose this college. Guys who are from Chitradurga and surrounding districts can choose that too if they don't get any college in counselling. But students who are very good in CET ranking and percentage in PU can choose other colleges.

A pleasant place to study and get good marks. No hi-fi things like metro cities. Campus placements is major concern and management should focus. Its a very old college one of the best in mysore region. College campus is spread over 45 acres of land with trees. Sports ground is awesome for cricket.

One of the worst engineering collages. Even though they say it is more than 30 years old, there aren't any facilities or the infrastructure that an engineering college should have. Placement is one of the worst aspects. Students had to inform PO (Placement Officer) about the pool campus selections and that person didn't assist even on that also. No IT companies visited the campus for placements. PO had arranged to bring water purifier companies for "campus selection". Don't have the latest softw...

SJMIT is the best engineering college, and the facilities are excellent.

Placements: 85% of students were placed in the computer science course. There are many recruiting companies that usually visit campus for the computer science course. Rs 5 lakh is the highest package for the year. And Rs 2 lakh is the lowest package for the year. Internships were obtained by more than 65 percent of students through computer science courses and with a variety of businesses.

It has good faculty members and good placements in the CSE branch.

Placements: The placement cell is only for CS and the electronic branch students. You can get a placement if you are in the CS branch. But there is no chance to get a job if you are from another branch.
