The institute accepts TNEA counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, the TNEA 2024 cutoff has been released up to round 3 for general, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. According to the Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology TNEA cutoff 2024, the last-round closing ranks varied between 5640 and 39053. The eligibility criteria for the BTech programme offered by Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) include the following: Candidates must pass the higher secondary examination (10+2) recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu, or any equivalent examination. They should achieve a minimum of 45% marks overall (40% for reserved category candidates) in aggregate in subjects such as Mathematics and Physics. Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with a maximum of two attempts for general three attempts for the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST communities and two attempts for candidates belonging to the OBC/ BCM/ MBC/ and BTC communities. The upper age limit is 21 years on 1st July of the academic year (Relaxation up to three years for candidates belonging to OBC/ BCM/ MBC/ EBC and BT communities and five years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST communities.For the BTech course (Lateral entry)The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the three-year Diploma or four year sandwich Diploma course in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category).

The cut-off ranks of SKCET (Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology) Coimbatore for B.Tech admissions 2024 differ in relation to the course. For instance, the cutoff rank for B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science for Round 1 was around 7942, while for BE Computer Science and Engineering it was 8226.
