Overall this college is average. Faculty is not at all good, but the placements is not bad.

Placements: In my bath, 230 out of 380 were placed. In my seniors batch, 210 to 220 out of 380 were placed. In my junior batch, the placements are also very low as I heard. This college is a part of the Techno India Group, so they always bring good companies to the main campus, and give a chance to every student to get a job. Every year, more than 50 company visit the college, and it's up to the student to how he or she will crack the interview and get a job. College also gives equal chances to everyone. On...

Good placements in 2015. The college infrastructure is bad.

Placements: Most of the placements were for IT companies. I was placed in TCS, although my fellow mates were placed in various IT companies like Amazon, CTS etc. Some core companies also came. Training and placement officer is very bad. Overall, it is not a good college for placements.

Good placement in 2016, really good infrastructure, but the management is not good.

Placements: The placement cell is good, and there is nearly about 60% placement in all years. As it is a joint venture with Techno India Group, many companies conduct placements such as TCS, Wipro, CGI. The average salary package is 2.4 LPA-2.6 LPA. The college also provides training.

The college was established in the year 2005 and it is pretty good to get education.

Placements: There are placements offered to the students who are truly qualified. IT companies grasp a lot of them, and the cores come a bit late, but provide fruitful outcomes. The placement officer takes a keen interest in every campus placements by being beside every student taking part in the crowd. Teachers are well-acknowledged with all the pre advises and thus have a good source to call for companies as and when required.

Good infrastructure and faculty along with good placements.

Placements: Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology (SMIT) is a part of Techno India Group (TIG). The placement of this college for my batch (2015) not so bad. In this year, 15% students got placed in TCS. After TCS recruitment, our college arranged many campusing for us and many students were got placed in various companies. One of the most popular core company of electronics is Sankalp Semiconductor visited our campus for recruitment. Out of all colleges, in TIG only one candidate has selected, and the only s...

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements in our college are not good, but it is not bad. After all, our college provides us much more campusing. I am not knowledgeable about the salary related issues, so I could not say anything about this. In placement issues, our department is lagging by many other departments.

The faculty were awesome, the infrastructure is crap, the placements are average.

Placements: Talking about the placements, SMIT doesn't provide the great placements, but you can expect for the placements if you have passed with a CGPA of at least 7.5. There are some things that you need to know if you are taking the admission only for the placement purposes. They are: 1) Regarding diploma, the placements are better for the core branches. 2) Even SMIT gives more placements to the core branch students. 3) The placements are horrible for the computer science students. The average package o...

I am dissatisfied with my college in all parameters.

Placements: The placement for the batch was not good. Only 30 out of 80 students got placements in our stream. Core companies did not come for placements. There were very few placements. The minimum salary was Rs. 1.7 lpa and the maximum salary was Rs. 3.5 lpa. The companies that came for placements were TCS, General Library, Department Johnson Controls, Radharani Electricals, Rs Software, Spider Infotech, etc.

A good and average college for good value for money

Placements: I would rate it 7/10 for the placements. Out of 60 students, 45 students were got placed from campus placement. TVS, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, and LNT Infotech are all the big companies that came for campusing. Overall placement is quite good. From the 7th semester onwards, students get opportunities from various companies organised by the college. The highest annual salary was Rs. 5 lakh.

Review of SMIT - Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements are the best in our college. Many companies like Godrej, TATA, New Allenbery Works, Sarda Motor, Nirmal Wires, TCS, Accenture, etc., provide PPOs (pre-placement offers) to students in their final year. The average salary package is increasing every year. The lowest package offered is 2-3 lacs per annum. 85% is the placement percentage.

It is duly approved by AICTE and affiliated with Makaut university, executed by Techno India.

Placements: Around 40-50% of students were placed every year. From our batch, nearly 40 students got placement in a reputed company. TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant were some of the big companies that recruit from this college. The highest salary package offered was 7-8 LPA. Overall, the placements rating was average.

I like this college for teaching activities, and it is overall good.

Placements: Almost 70-80% of the students got an internship in IT companies like Intel, TCS, Wipro and Cognizant for CSE department. In core departments like electrical, mechanical and civil, there are few internships in core companies like NTPC, Coal India and Grafite India.

The college provides knowledge with skills.

Placements: Our college provides good placements in companies like L&T, TCS, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, etc. Eligible candidates are selected for campusing. Before campusing, our college trains students to be eligible for the campus placement. Almost 80% to 90% of the students get a job by campus placements. Others will go for higher study.

Absolutely good teacher staff. Placement is Okk in 2014.

Placements: Placement Not Good but overall is ok type. My stream placement not good but other trade placement is good. Our Tpo is mostly trying for campusing but the original problem is that the market of engineering is so down otherwise all is ok. Our Tpo help us in training for various company. I also training from Tata chemicals and Indian Oil.
