Some other statistics include: total faculty with more than 10 years of teaching experience-60%, experience between 5-10 years of teaching experience -30% and in less than 5 years -10%. The admission process for SNS College of Technology, SNS Group of Institutions, is relatively competitive. Some of the primary statistics: 30,000+ applications every year; there are 1,200 UG seats and 360 PG seats. Ninety percent of the seats are filled through TNEA counseling, and 10 percent comes through Management quota. Cut-off percentages: 94 - 98% (Computer Science), 88 - 92% (Mechanical), 85 - 90% (Electrical), 80 - 85% (Civil). The top 10% rank holders in the TNEA are considered. Eligibility: A 45% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Selection criteria: 10+2 marks (100%) and TNEA rank. The seats are very less and students apply from all over Tamil Nadu. So, the competition is very high here, and getting selected is a very tough task here.

The live counters of the food court cater to 1,500 students and have 5 counters in total. Meal plans range from INR 55,000 to INR 65,000/annum. With a high student satisfaction rate of 95%, the mess conducts more than 20 food quality audits/year and has been certified for its food safety under ISO 22000:2018.
