Sri Aurobindo College of Delhi University: Worth it or not?

Placements: Placements are not good at Sri Aurobindo College of Delhi University. They’re even worse if you are from Bachelors of Commerce programme. If you’re coming from another state, trust me it’s not a worthy college to be in. Now you may decided yourself whether you want to come to Delhi for exposure or for the placements.

Review of Aurobindo College.

Placements: There is no placement in this college; students just want to complete their graduation so that they can become eligible for higher education like UPSC, CA, SSC CGL. Students come here with the expectation of getting placement; if your major concern is placement, then it is not for you.

Reality of Sri aurobindo college of south campus.

Placements: There is no such placement in this college. The faculty is good but doesn't take classes at scheduled times. Why would a company come and give jobs? Students here just come to complete graduation so that they can pursue further studies, unless there are no such placements.

Our college does not provide good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Seniors got good placements. Students need to score more than 60% for placements. The average salary offered ranges between 30,000 per month to 50,000 per month.

The college is not good, and it needs improvement.

Placements: I think only 10% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. Only 20% of the students got an internship, and placements are also very low. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, which is very low. Companies like a call centre, etc., visit our college. Very few students got an internship. On average, 5% of the students got placed in our course.

The placements, study ambience, and infrastructure are not good. Some faculty are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are the worst, I am from B.A. (prog). The only placement area where we can apply is call-centres or data entry. Even the students who belong to the stream of commerce and science are not a bit satisfied with their jobs, and most of them are still unemployed.

Dissatisfied because of crowd.

Placements: The placements are pathetic because there aren't such. Nothing is offered in this college after completion of studies. It is just for the sake of degree and no as such importance is given to studies. The college does have good faculty, but placements are never seen in this college.

The good things and the bad things about SAC.

Placements: There is a third party organisation that will call the companies and hire the students. A few reputed companies like EY, Concentrix, etc., visited the campus. The chances of getting the college placements are very low. The highest package offered to the students in the placements won't be more than Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. The college needs to work on the placements front.

I would suggest each and every upcoming student through CUET not to prefer Sri Aurobindo College.

Placements: My coursemates have not been placed; only seniors have been placed. As I see it, our college students are not placed in respective companies; only students are selected based on their semester marks, and a short interview is held, and students are selected.

The college had a below-average infrastructure. But a good crowd can be seen there.

Placements: The placement was nice. The average salary that can get without doing any extra hard work was around Rs. 25,000 per month. Decent companies can be expected there for the placement. There is no enthusiastic environment among the students regarding job offers. But if students are good in academics, they can get placed easily.

The college has poor infrastructural facilities, but studies wise it is very good.

Placements: Placements in our college are not very good. There is biasness in the placement area. The test is just a formality. There is no transparency in the placement section. Well-reputed companies visit our campus, but very few students are selected but not the toppers.
