With daily balanced meals and hygienic circumstances, the food quality at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) hostel mess is generally good. Over time, though some pupils find the taste monotonous. Four meals a day are offered on the menu to meet basic dietary requirements. It is appropriate for the majority of pupils because efforts are made to maintain health and hygiene standards. Nevertheless for variety, many people prefer to eat outside occasionally. In general, residents had a respectable experience with the mess facilities.

SAIMS faculty is highly qualified and has 200 plus members out of them 75 % have completed post-graduation and 40% have a PhD. Faculty-to-student ratio: 1:5 – The academic staff have a teaching experience of more than 10 years We also have 20% of our teaching staff who are from an international background. Key statistics: Out of a total of fifty, fifteen faculty members are from AIIMS, ten faculty members from PGIMER and the remaining eighty per cent are faculty members from top medical colleges. Average teaching experience: 12 years. Faculty specializations: 45 postgraduates admitted in 40 departments, 15 super-specialties; 90% of the faculty members involved in research activities; 500+ new papers published by the faculty members annually; student satisfaction index of 95% in the domain of professors' expertise. The academic development of faculty at SAIMS includes development programs that promote faculty skill upgrades.
