It comes under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which is the primary institution of many such institutions. The college was officially inaugurated by the esteemed founder of Manipal Institutes, Dr. T. M.A. Pai, the then chairman of the academy of education, Manipal, Mysore State. NIRF Ranking : 120 (Year 2019)
So keeping the above facts in consideration my choice is my choice if BIT Bangalore and NIE Mysore.

Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here

There are less chances of getting civil engineering branch at SJCE, Mysore with 32k rank in COMEDK, however you can get other good colleges such as Cambridge Institute of Technology, RNSIT or KSIT.
