SRM and SVCE both were found in 1985 and both were located in Tamilnadu. SVCE is affiliated to Anna University. If we SEE the placements of both colleges over the past 5years, they have been constantly pushing themselves to create better opportunities for the students. The highest package at SRM Chennai is 1crore (the latest) and at SVCE it was 46.7 LPA. So placements were good at SRM compared to SVCE. Coming to the NIRF ranking, In the overall category, SRMIST has been ranked at 36th position in the NIRF ranking 2022 whereas SVCE in the range of 201-250. But the fees at SVCE is quite low compared to SRM. It's Rs.400,000 per annum at SRM only for Tuition fees + 1,50,000 for Hostel, whereas it was Rs.2,10,000 in SVCE Chennai. So, if you can afford the fees in SRM I would definitely recommend you the SRMIST Ramapuram or Kattankulathur (KTR). Otherwise, SVCE is the best choice for the budget friendly institute.
