{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is it worth pursuing BE/BTech at Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology? Here's a summary of the key points:Pros:* Good Placement Record: 75% placement rate with packages ranging from INR2 LPA to INR12 LPA.* Top Recruiters: Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and Hexaware recruit students regularly.* Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, including modern classrooms, Wi-Fi-enabled labs, and a well-maintained library.* Friendly Faculty: Faculties are experienced, knowledgeable, and willing to help students.Cons:* Limited Facilities: Limited sports facilities and no extracurricular activities.* Older Curriculum: Course curriculum may be outdated, leading to difficulties in passing exams.* Placement Issues: Fewer placements compared to other colleges, and occasional instances of fake recruitment drives.Neutral Points:* Decent Pass Percentage: Pass percentage ranges from 60% to 100%.* Varied Salary Packages: Salary packages vary greatly depending on the company and position.Based on these points, it seems that while Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology has its strengths (good placement record, decent infrastructure), it also faces challenges (limited facilities, outdated curriculum). Therefore, whether or not it's worth pursuing BE/BTech here depends on individual priorities and expectations. If you're looking for a college with strong industry connections and a relatively good placement record, Srinivasa Institute might be a good choice. However, if you prioritize extracurricular activities, state-of-the-art facilities, or a cutting-edge curriculum, you might want to consider other options. Ultimately, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully and research thoroughly before making a decision.

{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Relevance* According to several students and alumni, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.* One student mentioned that the curriculum is very tough and difficult to understand, while another said that it's an older version and not suitable for placements.Teaching Quality* Most students praised the teaching quality, saying that faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful.* However, a few students noted that some teachers don't teach well, leading students to rely on online resources like YouTube and Google.Semester Exams* Several students reported that semester exams are difficult, although the pass percentage ranges from 60% to 100%.* One student mentioned that the pass percentage is higher due to the availability of additional chances to retake failed subjects.Industry Exposure* Although internship opportunities seem limited, several students reported receiving internships from companies like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, KTPS Palavancha, and Steel Plant Visakhapatnam.* Placement rates vary across departments, with some reporting low placement rates (around 10%) while others report higher rates (around 95%).ConclusionWhile the course curriculum may have some limitations, most students agree that it's relevant and prepares them for the workforce. With varying levels of teaching quality and exam difficulties, it's essential for students to stay motivated and focused throughout their studies. While internships may not be abundant, the placement record suggests that employers recognize the quality of education at Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology.
