With good infrastructure, competent faculty, and relatively strong placements, it is definitely worth considering. Courses at St. John's College, AgraBased on student reviews and feedback, here is an overview of the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.Sc. courses at St. John's College, Agra:* Lack of On-Campus Placements: Unfortunately, none of the students reported receiving placements directly from the college. However, students can participate in off-campus placement programs.* Limited Internship Opportunities: Students mentioned that the college does not provide any internship opportunities. While some professors offer internships, these are limited.* Some Companies Visited: Although there were no placements provided by the college, some companies like NIIT and coaching centers did visit the college for recruitment.* Average Placement Percentage: According to one student, around 50% of students from their course received placements. The highest starting salary offered was up to INR20,000 per month.* No Industry Exposure: Students felt that the college does not provide industry exposure, focusing mainly on theoretical knowledge.* Students Need to Find Their Own Opportunities: As stated by another student, "You have to find [placements] yourself.on your own resources." This suggests that students need to take initiative to secure their own placements.Overall, while some students managed to secure placements, the placement cell appears to be less effective, with minimal support from the college. Students may need to rely on their own efforts to secure employment after graduation.
