No, you do not need to appear for an entrance exam in order to pursue B.Com from SJCC, Bangalore. Admission is based on marks obtained in 10+2. Interested candidates can apply online with the required information. Regards.

St Joseph's College of Commerce is a highly reputed Commerce college in the country. It is 130+ years old institution. It ranks top 8th in India and top 2nd in Bangalore after Christ University.
There would always be a rush to get admission in Joseph's. The cut-off is always high for B.Com. It is around 90% for General Merit, 75% for SC/ST and for Christian Catholic it is easy to get admission with 60% as Joseph's is a Christian minority College.

Is it worth doing B.Com with ACCA from St. Joseph CC, Bangalore instead of applying to SRCC DU for B.Com?

Definitely SRCC is a better option, however, you need to wait for cut off because you may not get into it with 95%. In case not then go for ACCA.
