The accommodation prices of the St. Peter's Engineering College hostel differ today based on the type of the hostel and the facilities offered. The college has lodging facilities for boys and girls or in other words it has arrangements for the accommodation of one thousand two hundred students. The hostel fees are as follows: The fees for a single room with air conditioning cost Rs 60000 to Rs 90000 per annum. They include the costs for housing, eating, entertainment and other services. They also provide the mess facility the approximate charge for the mess is Rs 950 per month Hostel fees is to be submitted in two installments, one at the time of admission and second one in the month of January.

The college offers good number of placements and salary offers to their students, and have shown a 90% placement rate for the past years at St. Peter's Engineering College. It has a very active industry interaction where more than 200 companies visit the college placement campus every year like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Infosys etc. The median salary for students is Rs 6.5 Lacs per annum and the largest salary going to Rs 18 Lacs per annum. Similarly, the college also says that 20% of students get salary above Rs 10 Lacs per annum, 50% students get salaries between Rs 5 Lacs and Rs 10 Lacs per annum.

As per NEET, candidates seeking admission in UG/PG courses in Canara Bank Pu College, Bangalore can apply for admission in St. Peter's Engineering College. For UG Courses, candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC and other backward states candidates. They also have to provide valid score in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) /Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. For PG courses, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in the pertinent field with the academic average of fifty percent. The college also possess a counseling process for admission, it admitted 70% of the students based on TS EAMCET rank and the rest 30% through management quota.

Earning an admission into St. Peter's Engineering College may in fact be relatively easy since often much competition is encouraged through a large number of applicants competing for limited space. Every year the college get about 5000-6000 students applying for the undergraduate programme for which about 840 students are admitted. The admission process is depends on the candidate's Rank secured in Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET or JEE Main) and their 10+2 exam marks. The college has a privilege of EAMCET rank of between 10,000 and 15,000 and has cut-off mark of per cent of 60% to 70% for JEE Main.

At St. Peter's Engineering College, students can avail numerous co curricular activities as well as clubs for the comprehensive development of students. The college boasts of more than 20 clubs and societies; technical clubs, cultural clubs, sports and literary clubs. Pupils can represent the school in robotics or coding, innovation, cultural festivals, games, swimming carnivals, debating and writing competitions among others. The college also conducts Techno Fest, Cultural Fest, sporting event like Sports Meet every year in which more than 5000 students participate from all over the India. Also, the college has NSS unit where students are involved in community service and social welfare programs.

Therefore, to study in St. Peter's Engineering College for B.E/B.Tech The candidate needs to take the Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) or JEE Main. Those candidates who get qualified in EAMCET or JEE Main can go for the counseling in which the students can select St. Peter's Engineering College as their choice college. However, any candidate is also eligible for direct admissions under Management Quota and the candidate who seeks this must have secured at least 50% marks in their respective 10+2 examination. The college currently employs 250 faculty members; 150 of them have a Ph.D., and 100 of them have M.Tech. The faculty members cover the teaching experience of around 10-15 years out of which the industry teaching experience is of about 20 years maximum. As of now, the college also has 20 outside faculty members recruited from IITs and NITs etc. The faculty members have many research interests and the institution has produced over 500 research papers in various journals and conferences over a period of five years.
