Infrastructure, faculty members and course curriculum is really good.
Placements: No placement or internship is offered to students who are pursuing B.Sc. In Geology. There is placement cell in our college but that works only for vocational departments. I personally think that it should work for other departments also and college needs to focus in this area.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility for students. Labs are well-equipped with all necessary tools used for practicals. Classrooms are provided with the facility of smart class. Library is quite large which gives students proper environment to study peacefully. There are also large number of books available in the library. Quick medical facilities are provided in the case of emergency. Regular sports and games tournaments are organized by the college so that students can participate in it actively. The quality of food available in the canteen is good and also affordable for students. Hostel rooms are available only for boys not for girls, the rooms are not in good condition, it needs to be improved.
Faculty: Teachers are of very helpful nature and quite frank with the students. They are well qualified and knowledgeable as well. Teaching quality is good and teachers usually teach through smart classes. Industry exposure is also provided to us. Course curriculum is updated as per the necessity which helps us to become competitive in accordance with the requirement of the field.
Other: Sports, cultural, photography, literature and other such events are organized regularly for the students to excel in studies as well as in other co-curricular activities. Annual fest Xavier utsav is organized every in which students participate actively. Campus is too much crowded but campus surrounding is quite good.

Faculty and college environment is optimistic providing good learning experience.
Placements: Placement of students in our campus is good. Even our senior batch have good placement records. Students get opportunities for internship and gain real work experience. There is a placement cell which allows reputed companies to enter the campus. This gives students a considerable learning exposure.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi campus which is very useful for students. Labs are equipped for practical examining related to different subjects. Classroom and lecture hall are comfortable for long lecture sessions. Libraries provide many useful books not available on internet. Medical facilities are available and we have doctors clinic. We also have college gym and football, hockey ground, basketball courts even indoor games like snooker carrom etc. We have 5 canteen in our campus providing clean and hygienic food.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have great knowledge of their subjects giving quality education from blackboard teaching to projector lessons. We have field work and workshops as well. Student and faculty ratio varies in different departments depending upon the strength of the class. Industry exposure is also given to students. Like students are taken educational tour for experiencing real working. Such course curriculum is useful in building a better performance in students.
Other: There are annual sports day, cultural fest and rock shows as well giving immense opportunities for students to participate. Such events form a connectivity channels in the campus. Scholarships are also available for minorities. Sports and other art related exhibitions are held at regular intervals.

Satisfied with the college faculty, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am from B.Sc. geology department, and we don't get any placements. No companies visit the campus to offer placements to our department, neither any private sector nor the government sector. After graduation, we apply for further studies, i.e., for M.Sc., or one can go for government jobs by attending competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The college is well built and beautifully designed. The campus is enabled with free Wi-Fi. It has a football ground, basketball court, game parlour, four canteens, central library and international gym. The college also has a clinic. Hostel facilities are available for students. There are three different hostels on the campus for boys. Rooms are well-furnished. A mess facility is also available.
Faculty: Teachers in our department were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good as all teachers were cooperative with students. Teachers provided us with their hand-written notes. They all were just like family to us. They supported us not only in academics but also in the non-academic field.
Other: Sports events are held in our college every year, such as football, cricket, hockey, basketball, volleyball and annual sports meet. The college fest is celebrated in February for three consecutive days. Different themes and dress codes are followed each day.

My experiences at St Xavier's College, Ranchi.
Placements: Geology students are recruited only after the master's degree, so I didn't get any placement. But companies like Wipro come and anyone from the 3rd-year science or commerce stream can sit in their placement and if Wipro people are interested, they will take you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The campus consists of 8 huge, 4-storeyed buildings. It has an air-conditioned library, 4 canteens, a playground, everything needed for making it a perfect atmosphere for studying. Hence, the infrastructure is good. We have college Wi-Fi, a heavily equipped gym, well-equipped labs, a main hall for social gatherings, a quadrangle for skipping class hours, very clean washrooms and 3 hostels but for boys only. I have heard that a girls' hostel is to be constructed shortly. The quality of food is good with reasonable prices. I didn't face any issue regarding the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty team is really helpful. The faculty members under whom I studied were geology (as this was my honours subject)+ physics and maths (which were my subsidiary subjects) -qualified, so these faculty members were really good. Many of them are from IITs. The geology faculty team is really great. In 3 years, you will have 3 field tours, 2 within the state and one outside the state. Our batch went to Kullu Manali.
Other: My overall experience here was really great. I wish Xavier's also had an M.Sc program so that I could have studied here for two more years. It is the best degree college in Jharkhand and it is in the centre of the city. You will find everything near this college like markets, a bookstore, boys' hostels, girls' hostels, BHK flats, etc.

It is the best college with very good environment.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered was 1 LPA to 2 LPA and the lowest salary was Rs.60,000 - Rs.70,000 per annum. Many companies visited our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library were good in our college. Hostel rooms were very good and clean. Medical facilities were very good. Many kinds of sports were available but students like to play basketball.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were the best, highly educated, helpful, and interactive. Teaching quality was very good. Exams were not difficult. I studied hard to score above 85%. The pass percentage was 39%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in geography. The infrastructure of our college should be improved. Events and fests were organised in our college.
