Our college has quality education, good placements, and great infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are great. Many reputed companies and institutions, like Times of India, Hindu, etc., come here to select candidates. It's easy to get internships if you are a part of Stella, as many internships are given based on the college. We can get jobs like teaching at Stella itself, doing editorial and creative writing, etc., based on our course.

Infrastructure: The facilities are good. We have a gym, a spacious NSS ground, a green hut, and five mini canteens with one main canteen. There are limited food options, but they are of good quality and appropriately priced. We do have sports for the 1st and 2nd years, like yoga, basketball, throwball, aerobics, etc., that are compulsory. The library is huge, with an internet cafe provided, but you need to pay for using Wi-Fi.

Faculty: Our teachers are great. Not only do they teach, but they engage us in interactive sessions. Sometimes the lectures are delivered with PowerPoint presentations. The course syllabus is relevant but a bit excessive. It will surely improve your understanding. Semester exams are difficult. They conduct 3-hour exams for 100 marks each. It's based on your preparation. The minimum pass percentage is 45%.

Other: I chose this course because I didn't just want to do literature but also something else in depth. This course is a combination of literature and psychology. Not only do we study how literature works but also the process that goes behind it. Aside from that, we have some interesting subjects such as presentation skills, academic writing, media writing, English for language teaching, English for advertising, and technical writing. The college does organise a festival annually. Each department organises an annual seminar, lecture series, and events.
