Placements: About 60% of the students got placed through pool campus. Our college does not provide on-campus placements. Only consulting companies visit our college to hire CSE students. Core technical companies do not visit this college for placements. Students get an internship through other technology agency.

It is one of the worst colleges in Bangalore. It is situated on the outskirts of the city which become difficult for the students to travel to the college. Sri Venkateshwara Engineering College (or any other college) is not the college what they show in movies. Some faculty members are friendly and some are really strict. As a computer science engineering student, I was approached by a lot of college clubs to be a part of the club. The college is known to absolutely screwing their students. Extra rule and regulations for nothing other than troubling students. Completely money minded college, imposing heavy fines, teaching is almost poor, especially in Mechanical department. The majority of faculty members there have either little or no experience. The College is completely not worth it. I would not recommend it to anyone. Most important : Please Don't go on the looks of the College because that is not going to give you placements. 1) There are absolutely no placements from campus placement.
