When it comes to choosing the best elective subjects for a B.Ed. course, your BBA education shall yield certain subjects which are more appropriate than others in filling the gaps in your career ambitions:1. Commerce- This will involve teaching business, economics and accounting at the level of secondary or high school.2. Social Sciences- This will entail teaching any of the subjects under social science like economics or business studies. If it is your intention to work as a teacher in a government school. We mean specifically working in the middle schools or high schools. For further training you may or may not be required to undergo a postgraduate (PG) depending on the level of teaching you are doing:- Without PG Degree: One can teach till Class 10th (through 6th to 10th grades).- With PG Degree: High School classes XI and XII can be taught with special classes focused on Commerce, Business Studies and Economics related subjects. After B.Ed, if you want to take up a government sector teaching job, you will need to qualify in certain examination such as CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or a state level TET.
