Satisfied with faculty, NCC and sports events and disstisfied with placement and management.
Placements: No companies come there for placement. Zero percent of students got placement. Not even a single company approached there for placements all students passed out from here have to do Masters or preparations for competitive exams or civil services. Take admission wisely.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that bad but below average other colleges of North campus have much better campus. You will find sports equipments and good ground and lab equipments even though classrooms are not that good. There is also obstacles for physical training and NCC training.
Faculty: Even though bad placements and Infrastructure faculty of the college is good and informed, updated, and well educated. The faculty is so good and well mannered and supportive. The campus life is also good for rural background students. Food and snacks are not expensive .
Other: I have got admission there in first list after that I didn't bother to change. The NCC and cricket team is great there, if you want to be involved in sports in college this college is good for you but if you wanna enjoy fests and all that Swami shradhanand is not for you.

Teachers are experienced.
Placements: There is less probability of getting placements in this course. However, students can pursue to get higher education in the research-oriented field. Internships are not provided to any student. If you want to do an internship, you can approach any training centre or labs.
Infrastructure: Recommended books followed by the professors are easily available in the library. Labs are quite fair, and basic lab tools and instruments are available. There is also a medical room at the administrative block, and a common room for girls is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and well-knowledgeable. It is up to students whether they can utilise the knowledge of professors. The syllabus for this course is almost the same as the syllabus for life sciences except for the dissertation pattern in the last semester.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements and crowd.
Placements: No placements are provided by this college for any of the courses. DU used to conduct open campus placements where students from different colleges apply for that. There is no internship process like in other DU colleges, students apply if they are keen on learning.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. The new building constructed for science departments is much better than the old building. It has good labs, a well-established library for students to study and good medical facilities. One can find a good opportunity in the sports field.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, mainly for chemistry and zoology departments. They teach well with good practical sessions and examples. Sometimes, field visits are also scheduled so that the students can understand the real thing. In zoology, one can learn how to grow various insects.
Other: Events in our college are not as good as in other DU colleges.

Good infrastructure and facilities with good staff.
Placements: There were no placements provided the year I passed out, and as far as I know, there have been no placements provided in the college. There is no placement cell in the college. Placements may have been there for the commerce department, but there were no placements for the science department, neither any internships were provided.
Infrastructure: Different class strengths had different classrooms, i.e., if there are more students in a class, bigger classrooms were provided. All the labs were well-equipped, and e-classrooms were also available. The library had all the required books related to the course. Free Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus, and the playgrounds are very big too. The canteen is fine, but not too good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good. They opt for different methods of teaching. We went to several field trips too. Most of the teachers were available whenever we needed their help. They also gave their numbers in order to be in touch. All the notes were provided by them, and the practical sessions were also good.

Good faculty and infrastructure but no placements.
Placements: Though placements are not provided after doing B.Sc from any college, students from commerce background get jobs in various sectors after graduation. Although placements are rare in our campus, you can go for central campus placements if you are talented.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The Wi-Fi facility is okay, and lab conditions are also good for botany. The college cricket team is the best in DU circle. The canteen is not satisfactory but you have alternatives nearby. There are no college hostels, but you can opt PGs for accommodation. Girls can take admission in UGHG Mukherjee Nagar hostel for Delhi University students; it's worth living there.
Faculty: I personally love the faculty members of botany and chemistry. Microbiology department is the best department in our college. Teachers are cooperative, and we have educational trips too. Rekha Joshi madam, Madhulika madam, Sadhna madam, Archana madam, Vijay sir and Mehta sir are some of the best faculty members I know. But there are more faculty members to explore. Like other DU colleges, almost every course is available in our college.
Other: Shraddha Tarang is the annual cultural fest of our college, and it is getting better day-by-day with increasing participation and footfall every year. The campus crowd is not that good but you will find good people too. Connectivity to college is a major problem. Although there is a regular bus service, it will be a problem if you do not prefer the bus. The surroundings are okay, and so is the greenery. Scholarships are available for a few students, and the college shows good conductance and participation in extracurricular activities. There are many societies to develop skills like Swaransh, music society, Aaina, street play society, fashion society, western and folk dance society, debate society, creative writing society and many more.

Q:   Is Swami Shraddhanand College good for B.Sc.?

A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the provided information, I'd say that Swami Shraddhanand College is a good option for B.Sc., particularly for students interested in Physical Sciences like Chemistry. Here's a breakdown:

Pros:

* Good infrastructure overall, with well-maintained libraries and labs.
* Excellent faculty with Ph.D. qualifications, known for their professionalism, extra classes, and encouragement towards research practices.
* Emphasis on practical learning, with opportunities for projects and research.
* Opportunities for extracurricular activities, sports, and festivals.
* Limited placements may exist due to the university's efforts, although these might not be directly related to your course.

Cons:

* Limited hostel facilities, with students having to opt for private PG accommodations nearby.
* Average placement record, with fewer students getting placed compared to others.
* No direct industry connections for placements.
* While the college has made efforts to organize placement drives and internship programs, these seem limited.
* Infrastructure improvements could be considered, as the college's buildings and classrooms may need renovation.

Overall, while Swami Shraddhanand College doesn't excel in placements, it seems to offer a solid education in Physical Sciences, with engaging faculty and adequate infrastructure. Prospective students should weigh their options carefully, considering factors like personal interests, academic goals, and potential career paths.

Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary, so it's always a good idea to gather more information from current students, faculty members, or recent graduates to get a clearer picture of the college's strengths and weaknesses.
