Yes, SCMC Pune is very safe for girls. The hostels itself are very strict about the rules and regulations like you won't be allowed to leave your premises after 10 as the gates will be closed, if you want to take a night out then a prior consent from the warden is required. Also the GATE closes after 10 so most of the girls they have to be inside before it. As you are concerned about safety of girls I think its a pretty safe place for you to study and chill.
