Hi. B.E/B.Tech eligibility criteria at Tagore Engineering College:Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the college office.Eligibility: + 2 or equivalent, as per norms and guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu/Anna University and AICTE for UG courses.Thanks

Tagore Engineering College conducts admission to the B.E./B.Tech courses through TNEA, merit of the qualifying examination for admission shall be based on marks obtained by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the Qualifying examination. In management quota applications are welcome directly. One must have minimum 45% marks of aggregate in Class 12 examination, cumulative for general category candidates and 40% for reserved categories. Having applied for admission, candidates are required to register for TNEA, under go counseling process, and select the college according to the cutoff marks.
