One must have minimum 45% marks of aggregate in Class 12 examination, cumulative for general category candidates and 40% for reserved categories. Having applied for admission, candidates are required to register for TNEA, under go counseling process, and select the college according to the cutoff marks.

All the faculty members are either Doctorates or Master Degree holders. A majority of faculty members are pursuing their PhD programs at various universities. All the faculty members are made to attend FDTPs and workshops regularly to develop their teaching and research skills.
