Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology has a placement cell that it has designed solely for the benefit of its students. Of this batch, 172 were employed in 2023 at the highest, an 7 LPA while offering an average deal worth almost 3.5 LPA. Large recruitment centers are TCS and Renault Nissan, Cognizant, and a manufacturing entity called TVS Fasteners. However, just like other colleges with close to 60% employing some percentage of students out there as well, mostly they would get placed through the off campus. Overall, the TPGIT does provide an average placement environment, but still, there is room to improve the skills of the students to enhance job opportunities.
