NIE is a good choice . However, if further rounds of counselling is going to commence in future, I will suggest you to take part in those rounds for much better options.keep checking the seat matrix available at the official website of COMEDK.

I'd prefer BMS because it's in Bangalore, bangalore has a industry area where it would be easy for you to get a placement or job. You have a lot of opportunities when it comes to placements and other workshops. The teaching is also really good

I'd ask you to take up mechanical at NIE because the college had a much better placement team, teaching faculty is experienced and this college has repute for its mechanical branch. For mechanical, Ford gives the highest package of Rs.6 lakhs

Ford gives the highest package of Rs.6 lakhs per annum. On an average we get around Rs.4 lakhs package.

I'm afraid not. Unless you have any kind of quota i doubt you'd get a seat here at NIE. Cutoff for EC at NIE is around 3000.
