In order to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programme at the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysore, applicants must have finished their Class 12 education with a minimum of 45% in PCM (40% for reserved categories). The main criteria for admission are the results of entrance tests such as COMEDK UGET or KCET. Although 60% in Class 12th fulfils the minimum requirements, your admission exam score is more important in determining your seat assignment. Getting into NIE Mysore would require a high KCET/COMEDK score.

In EEE, you have to deal with a lot of electrical circuits. For that, you should have a interest in these electricity and electronics part like whatever you studied in Current electricity, Semiconductors etc in class 12.Tese chapters don’t exactly define about EEE but they are somewhat similar. So if you don’t have some specific interest then don’t take these core branches, instead of that you should take Computer Science or Information Science in some lower colleges. Now coming to colleges, placements are not that much bigger in these colleges. Everything is equivalent after coming to these colleges.Having ideas about other colleges, but DSCE is good.
