Placements: Out of 70, only 5 or 6 get placed in core companies. There is only 70% placement in the class. People join mass companies and get a dead end job. Our seniors were well-placed before the college became autonomous and the department earned a bad name. Only CS and IS students have a better scope because they end up graduating because of supportive lecturers. In our department, people try off campus and succeed because there is no help towards us.
