I am satisfied because of faculty and people in Mysore are very good.

Placements: Around 81% were placed last year, and the highest salary package offered was 51 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Volvo, Infosys, Mercedes-Benz, and many others. There are good placement opportunities in our college, especially for core branches. Top roles offered are developing engineering and testing engineering.

Good faculty, okay infrastructure; placement is now a bit less but back in the day it was great.

Placements: Around 60% of students from my course (seniors) are placed. The placement department head has a great number of contacts for the placements but due to student performance in the last few batches, the number of companies coming has decreased a bit. The placement coordinators are trying to bring in more companies. The highest package offered in our course is around 20 LPA, and the lowest is around 4 to 5 LPA. The top recruitment companies are Mercedes-Benz, Bosch, BMW, and Being. Almost 80% studen...

Good for North Indian students who scored 90–96 percentile in JEE Main.

Placements: My course in NIE Mysore is CS with a focus on AI and ML. Nearly 87-92% of students got placed in CSE core; according to my placement cell, AIML placement will be similar to CSE core placement. The highest package this year was INR 54 LPA and the lowest was INR 4.5 LPA. The average pack for CSE was INR 11.4 LPA and that for ISE was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, WIPRO, VISA, and Mercedes-Benz. From the 5th semester itself, colleges provide internships to nearly 65–70 percent of student...

The hidden secret of NIE.

Placements: The placements are pretty good in our college compared to others. The average package goes up to INR 11 LPA for the teaching branches. The placement is the only thing that makes this college better than other colleges. The average package for the other branches is around INR 8.5–9 LPA.

It is a good college for students who are looking for a job.

Placements: Our college is good for placements. Many students get placed every year with good salary packages. Salary packages depend on students' performance. They should enhance their skills so that they can get placed.

College life is good, and placements are getting better year by year.

Placements: The placements are good. The average package may be around 6 to 7 LPA. Companies like JP morgen come in 2nd year and if you do good you may get the PPO. Some others like Boshe, Philips, etc., also come for recruiting. Generally for the CSE, like if you want core companies they are less in number but the yearly, 10 to 12 companies come for per branch.

I am definitely satisfied with our college.

Placements: Nearly more than 70% of the students were placed in both core and mass recruiting companies like L&T, Atkins, TCS and Sobha Developers from our course. But the number of companies which visit related to our field of study is pretty less compared to other branches. Even the salary package offered is also less. It is not mandatory for students to do internships, etc. But it is a must to do a final year project. Even faculty members of our department suggest us some good organisations for internshi...

A decent college, especially if you get a merit seat.

Placements: The placements in the college were decent. In comparison to other colleges where students hardly get any core mechanical engineering jobs, my college was pretty good. We had some marquee companies like Mercedes and Toyota (hiring more than 10 students each) hiring a good number of students. Mercedes offered salary packages of around 4.5 LPA for R&D roles, and Toyota offered the role of an apprentice trainee with a package of around Rs. 25,000 per month.
