Absolutely dissatisfied with the college and its practices.

Placements: Apparently 90% people were placed but most of them went off campus. The highest package, as of now, to the people who are getting placed now has been 24 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA, with the average being 7-8 LPA. Talking about this year, the top recruiters have been Cisco and Fidelity.

Good for placement if you are getting top branches.

Placements: Around 80-90% students gets placed from top branches like CSE/ise/ECE. Average package is around 6-7 lpa and the highest goes around 30 lpa. Cisco, jp morgan, vmware are few great companies which comes to college. You just need to maintain around 8+ CGPA and no active backlogs at that time of placement.

The college name is good; placement is satisfactory. Faculty, infrastructure are not so good.

Placements: The placement is good. Usually, the recruitment level is more for the computer science engineering and information science engineering branches. In recent years, many prefer these branches. The companies that usually visit are Benz, Oracle, Cisco, Infosys, etc.

NIE is pretty good college compared to rest other colleges of Karnataka regarding placements. Although, infrastructure is not that much good. It's more like a high school in true sense. Some teachers are exceptionally good while rest of them come to college just for the sake of attendance. Students are hardworking because they know they will get no company if they only study what the college teaches. Students has to study job related subjects on their own. Hostel is very bad except the newly con...

The college has a low-quality faculty. Only a few of the members are good. Annual fest is just a formality and the branch fests are very poor. The placements are really good as compared to other colleges. It has some bad infrastructure. There is a lack of drinking water facilities and there is no proper funding for anything. The labs have latest computer systems installed. Internet connections are good. The library is also good. There is one digital library and the canteen is not satisfacto...
