Our college had very good infrastructure.
Placements: About 50% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course were TVS, Mahindra, and Toyota. About 90% of students got internships in various IT and automobile companies. The top roles offered in our course were design engineer, production engineer, sales executive, managerial positions, instrumentation engineer, and senior executive manager.
Infrastructure: There were seperate classrooms provided for each semester. We had various labs for each subject. Books required for the subjects were in the library. The hostel provided good food. It follows discipline and was neat. We had all the required sports equipment. There were also medical facilities provided in the first aid level. The college encouraged us to participate in co curricular activities.
Faculty: We had very good and helpful teachers who understand their subjects fully. They were always available on campus or staff room to clear our doubts. The teaching quality was good. We need extra courses after the completion of engineering to become industry-ready. The mere theory wasn't sufficient. The exams were average. Few papers were easy and few papers were tough. The pass percentage was about 90% every semester.
Other: I chose the automobile engineering course because of the passion I have for bikes and cars. A little more depth into practical knowledge and making us more industry-ready would be better. We had many ongoing events in college, cultural, social, etc. The crowd was a mixed crowd where we had people from different places. The campus was huge enough and we had good funding for scholarships.

Students have to pay the fee of 4 Lacs only to get a certificate.
Placements: Students are trying to get placed because the core placements are very less for this branch. The opportunities in this college are low, but the placement cell is trying its best to get placements for us. This year, there is an addition of a couple of companies too.
Infrastructure: I think the management needs an upgrade now.
Faculty: The teachers aren't here to teach, and students have to study on their own. They only motivate you to study. We can't expect much from teachers as they accept it in front of us that they cannot help us much. Engineering in our college is not what teachers teach you. It is about how much you know about the subject and how capable you are to learn all the subjects on your own without teachers' support.
Other: Extracurricular activities are not conducted here, so I suggest students not to expect it.

This college is not good or not the worst as it is average.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good, and to get placed in a core company is not possible here. Placements are limited only for computer science and information science branches. Students from the automobile branch who learn programming languages can get placements. Some non-technical companies like DTDC, Byju's, PayPal, etc., visit our college for placements, but they recruit less students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is not good. There are no cricket ground and not even a basketball court in our college. The college surroundings are not good. There is no huge auditorium for cultural events, and there is no parking problem. Our college surroundings are not that good to hang out with friends.
Faculty: Faculty members here are not good, and they speak butler English. They give you internal marks in all subjects. Internal and external labs are conducted peacefully, but you have to be good with faculty members. They clear your doubts but won't encourage you to learn in-depth. Optional subjects are selected by our college only.

The Oxford college of engineering (our college).
Placements: Literally very less placements for automobile and mechanical, excellent opportunities for other branches, but, we can attend all IT companies. No thug life auto and mechanical students, its like everything to eat without salt. Must try outside for better future depending on college is of no use.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty decent, classrooms are good at new building and very bad at old block, literally no wi-fi in our block, always have been sidelined. Library is good with all facilities Sports and games department is simply awesome have supported us every time.
Faculty: Automobile department faculty is really awesome have supported us all the time, our. Hod is good encourages for everything whether it is useful or not. Personally I am not satisfied about the Vtu curriculum for automobile it's really bad teaching the age-old stuff.
Other: When it comes to fest part it's pretty decent sometimes really average, campus crowd is always rocking with full cheers for everything, college surroundings have been drained due to metro construction.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, but not with the placement opportunity.
Placements: The placements are not much good for our department and other departments like mechanical and civil department. For other departments, they provide very good placements. The highest package we got is 8 lpa. HP, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM, book my show, Coffee Day, Juspay, and PayPal.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. On the campus, we have 19Mbps Wi-Fi connectivity. A well-equipped library is available. We have well-equipped games. There is a volleyball, basketball, kabbadi, kho-kho, football, chess, hockey, cricket, all games are present in our college. Inside the campus only, we have very good canteen and the food quality is average. This is all about my college infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are very helpful. They make us understand each and every problem we face. Also, there is partiality for intelligent students, but at last they treat everyone in the same place. We get to learn more about what is happening in the industries. These all are carried out by our college.
Other: Oxytexh, Departmental Sports, Karnataka Rajstova, Impulse, Mechanical Fiesta, Milana, National Conferences and Environmental events are conducted in the college.

Yes, it is definitely possible. Apply for it and the usual procedure will be followed from LPUNEST, then fee submission followed by in campus formal documentation. Still, you have given two years to CSE, take your decision wisely before switching the branch.
