That's a good question actually, Manit. The thing is in India, every year lots of engineering students graduate from different colleges having learnt almost the same thing. So, the competition is very high. That means you have to have some unique skill in you to stand out. In the current situation, we cant actually predict anything as it is a bad time for all people. But engineering is not something that would become obsolete in the near future. To my knowledge, data analytics is one branch that is gaining a lot of attention and scope in today's world. So, if you are interested, you can go into that field after engineering or directly. Try to find courses in data analytics for Bachelors. Or you can go for engineering in your desired field. Don't worry about the current situation. That is not a measuring criteria. Always go for what interests you. Good luck.

Hello Aspirants!
Yes, Definitely. NET basically tests your subject knowledge and if you have read well during your college, it won't be that difficult for you. It also depends on your subject. I had commerce and most of the preparation for NET was from Graduation books. Hence, I could qualify it in the first attempt itself. One more positive aspect is that the exam cycle for both the exams is different which can be taken advantage of. NET is a one time thing. Strategy-
The strategy would depend on when you are starting your UGC NET http://bit.ly/2FSok2K preparations. If I assume that you want to attempt NET and Cgl you can give around 45 hours to NET and along with that, 23 hours to CGL. It will help you build a base for CGL. Even when NET exam approaches, give 1 hour to CGL ( to maintain continuity). After you are done with NET, give full attention to CGL. Solve as many mock papers as you can, for both the exams. Revision is most important thing, revise as much as you can. Solve as many questions as possible. Would be nice if you solve it online. Hope the above information helps you.

Yes, you face difficulty in placement if companies visited your college. And If you placed then you will not get a decent salary with BCA Degree. Also, Growth is limited. In my opinion, BCA graduates have to do an MCA course then In this case 12th marks become secondary. They SEE the Academics score/CGPA/percentage of your MCA course only. Because They SEE Your coding skill and Development skill at this stage.
