FLIGHT DISPATCHERS COURSE:
Airlines appoint Flight Dispatchers for flight planning and obtaining ATC and MET
briefings and to brief the pilots accordingly and other duties enlisted in the companys
operational manual. Appointment as a Flight Dispatcher requires the students to be fully
trained and approved by DGCA.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:Student should have attained the age of 21 years. The minimum educational qualification required is pass in 10+2 standard examination with mathematics and physics subjects from a recognised Board / University
DURATION OF THE COURSE:
The duration of the training will consist of 360 hours or 12 weeks of Ground Classes. Thereafter, on successful passing of DGCA / TRTO examination, 90 working days of On-the-Job training and 5 hours of Simulator sessions for observing flight deck operations will be provided. In case the student is unable to clear the DGCA/TRTO examinations in the first attempt and requests for any additional/corrective training, the same may be provided at extra cost.
SYLLABUS:
AS PER CIVIL AVIATION REQUIREMENT SECTION 7, SERIES 'M' PART II the following subjects will be covered in the course.
1 Navigation General
2 Radio Aids
3 Instruments
4 Air Regulations: Aircraft Rules, AIP India Vol.I, CARs, AICs.
5 Meteorology
6 Flight Planning
7 General Technical
8 General Performance
9 Aircraft Specific A320 Technical (Aircraft System + Emergency Equipment)
10 Aircraft Specific A320 Performance
11 Aeronautical Informations AIP India Vol II, jeppesen Route Manual
12 Aerodrome Operating Minima
13 Crew Administration FDTL
14 Crew Briefing / Advisory Informations /In-flight follow up Procedures
