The requirements for admission to the various UGI programmes vary; for example, the UPSEE or UGI admission test is required for admission to the B.Tech programme. Candidates may apply online by visiting the institutes official website or offline by downloading and mailing a completed application form to the organisation. Candidates with a 10+2 Diploma and a minimum marks of 45% (40% for SC/ST Category candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply. The results of the UPSEE will be used to determine admission to the B.Tech programme.

Companies like TCS, Infosys, Genpact, Hexaware, LG, Amazon, Chegg and others are top employers for the B.Tech courses. For the year 2021, placement rates were close to 95%. The average package was 4.5 to 4.75 LPA, with the biggest package being 7.8 LPA and the lowest being 3.6 LPA. The college provided internships to over 75% of the students. Students have a lot of opportunities in college, but how well they use those opportunities is entirely up to them.
