Good but you can get the best.

Placements: The placements are decent but not that good. The packages offered are not that good, therefore, the students often go for Masters from some good IITs or for off-campus placements. The highest off-campus package offered was 52 LPA by Google in the year 2024. Therefore, if a student thinks that he/she could get 20 LPA or more, then he should drop the Master’s plan.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but the maintenance of the hostels is not up to the mark. The students often face water shortage and lack of cleanliness. The mess feed is around 2500 which includes breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. The food is decent but not that nutritious.

Faculty: The faculty is good and supportive. They provide us with notes, basically handwritten, which helps us a lot. The exam questions are from intermediate to advanced level and one can score good if he or she has prepared well. Overall, the experience is good.

Other: I chose this course since it was appropriate for me and it was in the main campus. The events are held sometimes in the college but not that big faces are invited.

My honest review of RGPV.

Placements: The placements cell is very good, in fact, it is the no. 1 cell among all the private colleges of Madhya Pradesh. They have good alumni network and corporates are invited for campus recruitments every year. The college doesn’t provide any internship opportunities .

Infrastructure: Libraries are very good in scope at this engineering college of Bhopal. The ground is also good with the classrooms having a good infrastructure. There are many extracurricular activities on the campus which are good. They provide the best hostel facilities along with providing rooms individually.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and they have a lot of knowledge but the management does not support the students financially. They also do not support the talented students in improving their talents.

Other: Social life is very good for the students. Students are very friendly in nature.

I am not very satisfied with my college because of the placement and college facilities.

Placements: Despite being touted as a strong selling point for our college, the placement process falls disappointingly short in several key areas. First, the overall placement rate is not nearly as high as the college advertises. Many students in my batch were left without job offers even by the end of the final semester, causing stress and uncertainty about their future. Additionally, the few placements that are secured often come with entry-level packages that barely meet industry standards. The average package is much lower than what the college promises, and only a handful of students receive attractive offers from reputable companies.

Infrastructure: Average college hostel scene. Our college does not have good facilities in the hostel, and cleanliness is poor. The college hostel fee is 6000 per annum, and the mess food is very pathetic and tasteless. However, the college hostel is very affordable.

Faculty: There are many useless college teachers who do not even know how to teach. All of them are Ph.D. holders, and they just help the students pass. All the teachers have only two to three years of experience. But some teachers are too good, with a lot of experience and knowledge of their subjects.

Other: Currently, I am doing B.Tech in AIML, and my college fee is 40,000 per semester. In every semester, there are five subjects and one additional language subject. The college is good as far as fees are concerned.

Our college provides good placements.

Placements: Around 35% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered ranges between 12 LPA - 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students got internships in Wipro and Infosys. They offered many roles.

Infrastructure: Our department is good. Our college has labs, a library, classrooms, etc. The hostel is good. They provide sports and games facilities. Medical facilities are good. The food served in the mess and canteen is good. Classrooms are good.

Faculty: Many teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. They have completed M.Tech. The course curriculum is good. Students' feedback is good for improving the teaching ability of faculty.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. This course provides good salary packages. The best aspect of this course is it provides the opportunity to work with technology.

I really like my college, it lacks in some areas but they provide us with the best facilities.

Placements: UIT RGPV Bhopal is one of the top rated college in Madhya Pradesh. I'm very greatful to the part of this prestigious institution. In CSE branch the lowest package is of 3 lakhs and highest is 64 lakh. We got 3 interships per year and around 70% students get the oppurtunity to join this.

Infrastructure: In my branch we got computer lab with good wifi connection. We started to learn different languages like JAVA, C, C#, C++, Python. And in hostel we get average facility, food is also average but edible apart from this we got library so that we can use our free time with books. Canteen is good, the food is good and they maintain the level of hygiene. Every year, college organises events for students like sports and cultural events. We also get the medical facility if needed in hostel and in college.

Faculty: Yes they are qualified teachers with good sense of humour, still there are something lacks in their teaching pattern. There should be some practical knowledge of the topics given. And topics should be more precise and accurate. Paper pattern is good although it can be sometimes. Passing percentage is 6 cgpa.

Other: Computer science is one of the demanding course in our country. I got the best experience till now, learned two languages and explore the computer world.
