UIIT Shimla and CGC Landran are both well-known institutes that offer undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT) in India. Both institutions have their strengths and weaknesses, and the choice between them depends on various factors, such as academic curriculum, faculty, placement opportunities, infrastructure, fees, location, etc.
Here is a brief comparison between UIIT Shimla and CGC Landran based on these factors:
Academic Curriculum: UIIT Shimla offers a well-structured academic curriculum, which is updated regularly as per the latest industry trends. On the other hand, CGC Landran offers a more traditional academic curriculum, which focuses more on theoretical knowledge.
Faculty: Both institutions have experienced and qualified faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. However, UIIT Shimla has a more diverse faculty, with professors who have research and industry experience.
Placement Opportunities: Both institutions have good placement records, with students being placed in reputed companies. However, CGC Landran has a better track record in terms of placement opportunities and average salary packages offered.
Infrastructure: UIIT Shimla has a beautiful campus with modern facilities such as a library, computer labs, hostels, sports facilities, etc. On the other hand, CGC Landran has a huge campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including air-conditioned classrooms, a modern library, sports facilities, etc.
Fees: The fees for both institutions are reasonable and affordable. However, CGC Landran's fees are slightly higher than UIIT Shimla's.
Based on these factors, CGC Landran appears to have an edge over UIIT Shimla in terms of placement opportunities and infrastructure. However, UIIT Shimla has a more updated academic curriculum and a diverse faculty. Ultimately, the choice between the two institutions depends on your priorities and preferences.
I would recommend that you research further about both institutions and consider factors such as location, campus life, extracurricular activities, etc., before making a final decision.

Hi Hartej,
In my opinion, Sharda University would be a good option. I say this because firstly Sharda University is a popular college and surely to maintain it's image, it would try to provide you with good internships and jobs, moreover it would provide you a good environment and sufficiently good facilities like sports, hostels, internet connectivity, exchange programs, fests that would help you in your overall development during the 4 years of B.Tech. Lastly, I would say that college is not the main thing that matters, it is you, and how well you develop your skills and personality that matters. Hope it helps.

There is no migration between Universities and Courses. Complete your B.Sc. and then you will be eligible for lateral entry to direct 2nd year. There is no legal way around it.
