The campus is a part of University of Burdwan campus. The college has a lush green campus. The library is computerized. The library receives 20 national and 30 international journals. The institute has its NSS unit and REC Club (Renewable Energy Club) through which students do many extra-curricular activities. The average package provided during placement is 3 LPA. It is a good college but lacks basic infrastructure. The faculties are excellent to say the least. The engineering wing of the Burdwan University is better than the majority of private colleges in India. The fees is very decent, 25000 per semester approximately which is very low as far as engineering is concerned and the lab facilities are very good.
UIT RGPV is the best college if you want to pursue a career in engineering. Particularly, the institute’s Automobile engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science departments are among the best. Placements: There are very good placements for Computer Science and Information Technology department. But many core companies do not come to our campus. But, the placements rate of this college is really good.
Placements: This college gives very good placements to the students. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The college supports the students from the 2nd year of the course to be ready. For the interview thus they can crack the interviews very easily. Almost 90% of students get internships offers in this college. Summer training has been arranged in different government, private, and government undertaking organizations. Some of them are Kalkata, CMERI Durgapur, NICS Kalkata, DVC, etc.
Placements: 70% placement in CSE branch and other core branch placements are average. The highest package of CSE is 12 Lacs per annum. Top companies are TCS, congnigent, Imphosys etc. Recently 50 percent students got internship from my course in BSNL, TCS, Cognigent etc.
