Usha Mittal Institute of Engineering – Best Exposure for Your Engineering Career for Ladies
Placements: Mostly, 85-90 percent of students get placed during their fourth year. Also, majorly, students get internships from their second year as well. Some companies like Visa, Infosys, and Capgemini offer high salary packages to students. Last year, Visa offered the highest package of 37 LPA, and the average package was 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has different labs for different subjects. Some labs have a bit of fault but are under working to be created anew for students. Also, labs have Wi-Fi for students. Other infrastructure is also in good condition. Availability of food is not a major concern. There are three canteens in total in the university. Additionally, the thali system and other food can be ordered as per requirement.
Faculty: The college provides the most humble teachers and seniors, and any doubt is solved as quickly as possible. Teaching is done in the classroom, and practical knowledge is provided through labs and sometimes through projector lectures. The college has NAP for the curriculum, which means marks are provided through continuous assessment.
Other: I chose computer engineering, one of the topmost branches of the college. Back in 2023, the CET cutoff was 85 for CET OBC, and I scored 89 percentile. Also, JEE marks are accepted.

A good college with good placements.
Placements: Students above or equal to 7 CGPA were placed. The highest package is around 15 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, VISA, BARCLAYS, ORACLE, DEUTSCHE BANK. The placement is very good. Top roles such as Data Analyst, SDE etc.
Infrastructure: The faculty members of our course are fine. While there is no Wi-Fi facility and internet connectivity is very slow in college. Classrooms are fine but in lab some computers don't work. Library is good. The quality of food in mess is not good. Many girls live in PG's nearby college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. They make us industry ready excluding one or 2 subjects. The difficulty level of semester exam is medium. The teachers give us notes which we just have to follow.
