The college isn't worth taking admission to.
Placements: There are placements for computer science, but not for the electronics and communication branch. Internships are typically given to members of the college council. There aren't many seminars based on internships or placements. Placements for other branches are better than those for these branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not well maintained, as it is neglected, given that it is a women's university. The hostel facilities are subpar, with poor rules and food quality. The deposit refund is delayed by the management. The campus is frequently busy due to shooting and weddings.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but some aren't. The management is lacking, and the staff in these branches is mostly available. The curriculum is old, and staff members skip most of the parts. Some staff members may take revenge. Many girls face backlogs even after submitting good papers.

It has good placements and the best faculty members.
Placements: I passed out from this college in the year 2020 during the pandemic, but it does not affect our placements. TPO sir and their team managed students to get placed. During the pandemic, many students got placed in the IT sector in Barclays, Accenture, Capgemini, WhiteHat Jr, TCS, Nebal and many other IT companies. The maximum salary package offered is about 12 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. Our college provides a great opportunity in the IT sector placements. For ENC and EE, there are poor opportunities for placements in their core sector, but there are many opportunities in IT companies for IT and CSE branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is old, but the campus is aesthetic. Students would feel very close to the environment, and it has lush green, big and small buildings. The campus has two auditoriums of which one is for big college festivals, and the other is small for small seminars with air-conditioners. There are 5 floors in the building with a lift installed in our passing year.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. They are sincere in their teaching and ask students to be sincere. They check our homework. They conduct many tests until maximum students score good marks before the semester. Their teaching methods are the best, especially for ENC and EE branches.
Other: If students are interested in studying electronics, then I suggest pursuing EE or ENC. If students are looking for job placements after engineering, then I suggest pursuing IT or CST. Students can surely get placements. Events and festivals are the best part of engineering and especially for us because here we independently organise on our own conducting seminars till organising IV.

Satisfactory placements in 2019, nice infrastructure, good teachers and good food too.
Placements: Salaries offered in 2018 were 12lakhs, 8lakh,6 Lacs ,5 Lacs, 4.5 Lacs, 3 Lacs p. a. respectively. Companies like Barclays, Colgate, Accenture, HSBC, TATA Motors, Ericsson, Atos, Ubisoft and some other came for recruitment. Around 40 percent students got placed in above companies.
Infrastructure: UMIT has various labs for Science, mechanics, programming, dance, singing, yoga etc. Classrooms have projectors and nice comfortable seating arrangement. Our college also has Wi-Fi, library and various sports equipment too. We also have badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court and different courts similarly in our campus. Our campus has a lot of greenery and students have so much competition amongst then that encourages us to come to college enthusiastically. SNDT Hostel (Santacruz) has a capacity of around 500 girls in which students of different colleges under SNDT University live together. The mess is extremely good and the food that is provided to us is also very nice. Medical facilities are also provided for small diseases like cold, cough etc. Games like badminton, volleyball, basketball can be played anytime. Canteen of our University has a lot of options to choose from. They provide only vegetarian food. The food is very tasty and also very affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified with Ph.D. PG and M.Tech degrees from prestigious colleges of our country. Teaching quality is not that satisfactory as they don't really help us visualize the practical implementation of each topic that we study. According to me students have to put in a lot in order to get placed in a good company from our college. Teachers should adopt different ways and leave the old ways of teaching. In this era of technology we should be taught things that makes us industrial ready as at the end of the day we are doing this to earn something in our lives.
Other: I chose this branch as this branch will help me to get into private as well as government. Sector. Best thing about my course is that we learn everything about hardware and a bit about software too as compared to CST/IT branch which study just about software. According to me practical implementation of various subjects should be shown to us in order to understand the real life application and purpose of learning a particular thing. We have around 6 different fests in our college that occur every year. 3 technical and 3 non-technical fests. Campus crowd is also good. No complaints as such. Scholarships are provided to all the SC/ST/OBC classes as well as to the toppers of college.

Satisfied with the faculty, average placements for the last two years.
Placements: Almost 45% of students manage to get placed every year. Our highest package offered for last year was 9LPA, whereas the lowest package offered was 3 LPA and our average package offered ranges from 4.5-6 LPA. The top recruiters are Ericsson, HSBC, Accenture, and Colgate.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, there are separate research labs apart from regular course-related labs, canteen, and mess food is super good and affordable, there are two libraries, one inside the college building and the other is at the central campus library. The hostel is clean and it is inside the campus.
Faculty: Yes, the faculty is good and gives us time to time career guidance and help us prepare for the future in every possible way, the end goal is to make us, the student's industry-ready, and so in that sense, the course curriculum is prepared and taught up to date and revised regularly. On a note, not to mention, the teachers are friendly and supportive.
Other: I love this course and I enjoy learning the hardware pov, there are 7 councils in our college and hence life at UMIT is very happening, with fests and events taking place at regular intervals.

Good placement for IT and Computer branch. Evergreen campus Extra curricular activities at its peak
Placements: Firstly it is women's University. Our college have best placement for IT and Computer branches. They get placed in amazing companies like Colgate, JP Morgan, Deloitte, deutsche bank and many more. If you get above 60% in MHTCET you can easily get admission in our college.
Infrastructure: We literally got the best and friendly faculties. Except for some teachers other all faculties are understanding and really good at teaching. You will surely get a school vibe in our college Office staff is very co operative and helping. Mostly all girls study in the library itself. There are 2 library one is college library which is big enough. But we also have one University library in the campus. As it is the girls college we really are so comfortable Last but not the least too many events and councils are there in college and are really worth participating .
Faculty: Faculties are really very friendly and helping. Not just faculties but non teaching staffs and office staffs are also very co operative and interactive. There are councils and lots of events. Too much of extra curricular activities are provided by the college. If you are very interested in sports,Fashion show, dance and NSS our college should be your priority. In this college i learned how to manage over all progress.
