{Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what emerges:Pros:* Excellent faculty: Many professors hold Ph.D.s and are experts in their fields, making teaching a priority.* Good placement records: The college has a strong track record of placing students in reputed companies, with packages ranging from INR2-INR7 Lacs per annum.* Industry-ready curriculum: The courses cover topics relevant to industry needs, preparing students for real-world challenges.* State-of-the-art infrastructure: While old, the infrastructure is being renovated, and modern facilities like Wi-Fi and online resources are available.* Campus life: Students enjoy participating in various events, festivals, and sporting activities.Cons:* Old infrastructure: While renovations are underway, some areas still require upgrading, including classrooms and bathrooms.* Limited hostel facilities: Postgraduate students do not have hostel facilities, and those nearby cannot always use the mess services.* Teaching style: A few students mentioned that teaching quality could improve, focusing more on practical applications and industrial visits.* Curriculum relevance: Some felt that the course material could be more aligned with current industry trends and practices.Overall: VJTI Mumbai's M.E./M.Tech programme appears to offer a well-rounded education, with strengths in faculty, placement records, and industry-readiness. However, the limitations in infrastructure and teaching style need attention. Aspiring students should weigh these factors carefully before making an informed decision.

No, a mere 70% in your 12th grade will get you into VJTI. Since you only received a 70% on your 12th standard board examinations, you have very little chance of being accepted into VJTI Mumbai's B.Tech program, especially if you are looking for general category seats. VJTI demands a minimum of 75% of marks (for general category) in 12th PCM/PCB for admission to the B.Tech program. There is fierce rivalry for a respectable college like VJTI, and the general category cutoffs can sometimes reach even higher levels—85% to 90% in some years—depending on the intensity of the competition. With a 70%, you fall short of general eligibility. You might therefore not even make it to the merit list based on the admission exam scores.
