You can see the percentage distribution of reservation for different categories and then calculate the number of seats depending on the intake capacity of the branch.

All core engineering branches have a decent cut-off. You can expect it to be around 95 for open category.

The JEE score is valid in most of the colg. And is the creteria for the merit list and cutoffs. Do visit the official websites of the institutes for percise and bonafide information is my suggestion.

Hello Abhishek,
As per your marks in JEE Mains, you will get good branches in top NITs, however admission in Jadavpur University and VJTI is done via WBJEE and MHCET respectively not via JEE Mains.
