- Read moreCandidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, or any other examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, with the mentioned marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or equivalent along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards. Candidates who have appeared for the final year of 10+2 and who are awaiting for their results are also eligible to apply on provisonal basis.

Good opportunities for placement.
Placements: Almost 80% of students were placed in various job roles. The highest package reached around ₹35 LPA, the lowest package was about ₹3.5 LPA, and the average salary package ranged between ₹4.5 to ₹6 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, and Accenture. From the first year, the college provides placement training.
Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped, and the library has an excellent selection of books and digital resources. The hostel is comfortable and well-maintained with essential facilities. Mess food is above average, offering decent variety, while the canteen provides more diverse meal options. Sports facilities are well-equipped, and the campus has adequate health services for students.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified to teach specializations like machine learning and other emerging skills. The course curriculum, however, is not very relevant to AI, as it mainly covers standard CSE courses and does not fully prepare students for industry. Semester exams are not very difficult.
Other: I was interested in computer-based systems, and Information Technology is quite a good branch.

It's the best and most wonderful college in Andhra Pradesh. I would highly recommend this college.
Placements: More than 80% of students in our course are placed. The highest package for this year is 24 LPA, the average package is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, Infosys, and TCS. All the trending courses are offered in our program.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent, with a green campus that provides a pleasant and peaceful environment. Students have access to facilities like AC and digital boards in the classrooms. The food in the hostel may not always taste great, but it is nutritious and healthy. Hostels are well-equipped with good facilities. The college offers strong medical support and encourages students' talents in sports, conducting sports tournaments and hosting various activity-based clubs.
Faculty: The teachers are highly educated and provide students with valuable knowledge. Semester exams are not very tough, and the pass percentage is above 90%. The course is relevant and prepares students well for jobs, making them industry-ready.
Other: This course is very similar to Computer Science, which I prefer because the IT sector offers excellent job opportunities and career prospects. The events and fests at the college are energetic, and the safety staff ensure students' safety while allowing them the freedom to enjoy.

Dissatisfied with the timings of the college, good infrastructure, but needs to improve curriculum.
Placements: The placements were good before 2023. Now, the number of placements has decreased. Only 45% of students were placed in 2023. The highest package is 24 LPA, which is off-campus, and the lowest is 4 LPA for on-campus placements. The top roles offered in our college are Fullstack Web Developer and Software Engineer. The number of students securing internships is very low, around 30%, as students have to apply for internships themselves; the college does not provide any direction.
Infrastructure: Only the newly built blocks and hostels are very good, but some old course blocks and hostels do not look appealing. The views in our college, such as the open auditorium, garden, and lake view, are quite beautiful. The library is well-maintained and has many books. However, the quality of mess food is poor and does not taste good, with oily food being a common issue. Students have limited exposure to sports, and there is no ground for girls.
Faculty: Only some teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The curriculum is not very beneficial for students. Some subjects we are learning are not relevant to what students will do in the industry. Practical learning is missing; it is more book-based. The semester exams are not very hard, and since it is an autonomous college, almost 90% of students pass the exams.
Other: As a confused teenage girl, I joined B.Tech like everyone else, but after joining, I realized this course is not for me. Practical learning would help improve the course; more time should be dedicated to practicing coding rather than lectures. Only two events occur in a year, apart from farewell and fresher’s day. The college is located in a large society with various colleges, a school, and a temple.

Quite better to be here, iam satisfied.
Placements: Only a few students have been placed in my course. I believe it isn't worth it. The highest package stands at 40 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA. The primary recruiting companies are Wipro and TCS. The predominant roles offered in my course are project workers. Almost 90 percent have secured internships.
Infrastructure: In the classroom, Wi-Fi is available, and the library also appears to be good; we can obtain the books we need. However, the hostel facilities are only average. While Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, the food is not very convincing, and we have to prepare it ourselves throughout the year.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but ultimately, we have to rely on ourselves to acquire the knowledge we seek. The teaching quality is quite good, and the curriculum is relevant, preparing students adequately for the industry. However, the semester exams are a little challenging, resulting in a pass rate of 90 percent.

If you belong to OC or OC-EWS you can't get the seat. 2019 last rank for IT for OC boys and girls is 23205, for OC-EWS boys is 22674, and for OC-EWS girls is 22948. This year it may be even less than 20000. So, you can get IT in VIT Bheemavaram only if you have reservation.
