Eligibility criteria for candidates from SC/ST and OBC are 40% in optional subjects. The candidate must have appeared and cleared English as one of the subjects. Diploma or equivalent degree holders can apply for admission in the second year, provided they have secured 50% in their final year examination. For SC/ST and OBC, the criteria are 45%, in case the candidate has secured less than the eligibility, and must clear the bridge courses as specified by Bangalore University.
