Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

An actually good college in Mumbai with up-to-mark facilities.
Placements: 393 students were placed. 15 LPA is the highest package in 2024 as of July. Roles like data analyst and data scientist are offered for those in AI in this course. Other roles include web development and SDE. About 110 recruiters visited in 2024 and are still counting. 30 LPA was the highest salary for 2023, with a total of 529 offers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole college. The canteen and mess have good food with many options, all made in a very hygienic kitchen. Indoor sports rooms are available for playing chess, carrom, and table tennis. One ground, not full size, with a goal post is there. A rooftop turf is also available, which is regularly maintained .
Faculty: Most teachers are decent; some cannot deliver the material up to expectations but those get replaced. Feedback is always asked for every semester. Exams are moderate to tough, with a passing percentage of 40% in any exam, whether midterm, external, or practical. The course curriculum is now up to industry standards and makes students industry ready.
Other: The college has a good campus and the courses here keep getting updated as per technological trends. Some more emphasis on practical work and input from teachers on building things would be appreciated. Events in the college are pretty good, both cultural and technological. There aren't many intercollegiate events hosted by our college but we always take part in those happening elsewhere.

Placements dropped for 2024 batch.
Placements: Placement season in 2023-24 was not as good compared to previous years. Around 60% of the students were placed in AIDS. Top recruiting companies are Forcepoint, Deloitte, Accenture, JP Morgan. However the hiring count was significantly reduced in 2023-24. Highest package offered was around 17 LPA to 3 students by JP where lowest package went down to as low as around 3.5 LPA. Barclays, Amazon(Team lead) offered internship in 3rd year which were converted to PPOs. However few companies like JP Morgan, Barclays, etc. didn't allow AI and DS students for placement as well as internship. Mostly the role was software developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure the college is really cool and nice with the building in a curved shape. The classrooms are spacious. Wifi is provided with a decent internet speed. Canteen is spacious with good food items at decent price. Labs are provided for each department with really good facilities. About hostel, the rooms are good and the food is really good for the price charged.
Faculty: The quality of teaching here is really good when compared to other colleges. The teachers are quite knowledgeable and really helpful. Courses offered are relevant to the industry and can help student be industry ready. There is one midterm and end sem each semester with the difficulty of the exams being moderate. The pass percentage is 80+ almost all semesters.
Other: Events and fests are the best things the happens in college. Freshers are given lots of opportunities to get along the seniors via the fests and events, technical as well as non technical. College will be supportive of extra-curricular activities you are really passionate about.
