The best way to commute from Kamothe to Vivekananda Education Society College of Arts, Science and Commerce in Chembur is by train and bus. Here are the steps to follow:
Take a local train from Kamothe station to Kurla station. The train route is Harbour line and you can check the train timings and route on the Mumbai suburban railway website or app. From Kurla station, take a bus or auto-rickshaw to Sindhi Society in Chembur. The bus route number to take is 358 or 362 which will drop you at the Sindhi Society bus stop. Alternatively, you can also take a cab or hire a private taxi to reach the college. The entire journey may take around 1-1.5 hours depending on the traffic conditions. It is recommended that you check the train and bus timings in advance and plan your journey accordingly. You should also keep some buffer time in case of any delays or unexpected traffic.

The teaching- learning process is facilitated in 61 classrooms, nine specialised laboratories (2 for foodtech, 5 computer labs with high-speed Internet connectivity, 2 psychology labs and 1newly added chemistry/research lab, 2 seminar rooms with ICT facilities, an auditorium with seating capacity of 650. and a fully automated library. Yes, I would suggest you switch to B.Com (Hons). in Vivekanand. Always prefer course over the college. I have seen many times that students sacrifice with their course preference just for the sake of college name and reputation and regret it later. B.Com (Hons). has greater value than B.Com Programme moreover, Vivekanand is a quite decent college. I have also faced the same situation while I was looking for my admission in DU and I am pretty satisfied with my decision now so go for B.Com (Hons).
