Hi,
The basic eligibility for B.Sc in interior designing is 10+2 and B.Sc course is for 3 years or 6 semesters. There are many institutes that provide B.Sc through correspondence or distance learning, however, you will need to check with the institute individually regarding the lateral entry options. Normally, each university has its own rules for lateral entry into its graduate programmes. In case of B.Sc in interior designing, lateral entry is possible for candidates who have successfully completed 1st or 2nd year of degree programme in interior design itself. They would be eligible for admission to 2nd or 3rd year of the B.Sc interior design programme.
Also, candidates pursuing 1st year or 2nd year of Diploma programme in Interior design would be eligible for lateral entry into the 2nd / 3rd year respectively of the degree programme. Furthermore, if you are seeking admission via lateral entry should have a valid gap between your 10 + 2 and the year of admission to desired programme. In order to check whether lateral entry would be applicable in your case, we recommend that you check directly with the institutes. Here are a few institutes:
Annamalai University: http://annamalaiuniversity.ac.in/distance_edu.htm
Bharathiar University School of Distance Education: http://www.b-u.ac.in/Integrated
Academy of Management and Technology: http://inmantec.edu/Main.asp
Kuvempu University: http://www.kuvempuuniversitydde.org/
Rai Foundation: http://www.behror.raifoundation.org/idea.html
Institute of Design Engineering and Art: http://www.idea.edu.in/programs.htm
If you need further help or guidance, you could revert.

B.Tech course is usually of 4 years but since you have done your Diploma you might have chances to get directly into 2nd year. For Diploma holders B.Tech is of 3 years.

I don't think that the distance mode or correspondence mode technical degree is any longer available to anyone in India.
B.Tech should be done in the regular mode only.

Correspondence electrical engineering course will provide distance learners with the knowledge of electrical engineering skills and technical skills required to design, evaluate and develop electrical systems.
If you're fascinated with the working of electrical devices and have a deep interest in physics and maths, then you already possess some of the key electrical engineering skills and an electrical engineering degree is perhaps for you.
