XIME has excellent placements with respective to marketing. Almost 95% students get placed with more than the average package of around 6-7 LPA. Placements in HR are decent but it all depends on the market as well. But they do get good companies with good roles. That should be your concern and not the package as of now.

This totally depends on the paper pattern, other students performances, and paper difficulty. There is no specific answer for this.

It depends on the stream that you will be pursuing in. Marketing and Finance are extremely good in terms of ROI and placements. Market is extremely unstable, so we cannot be too certain about the placements based on the average placements. Things may change, first be sure about what stream you want to switch into. Being from an IT industry with 2 years of experience, I found my work extremely monotonous and not challenging enough. So, I decided to pursue Management - HR division. I needed a complete career change. If you think it is worth it to spend INR 15 Lacs and invest 2 years of your time here, go for it. Else, you can always wait for another 2 years and go for Executive MBA. Let me know, if you need more input on this.

As far as XIME-Bangalore is concerned, the HR department is not booming really well. Nevertheless, things may change over time, so we cannot say anything as the market is very unstable. The teaching faculty, the companies visiting the campus are extremely good. Even the roles offered are pretty good. But, I cannot guarantee a high package in XIME. I am not too sure about IMT-Nagpur, but ROI for HR field is not up to the mark in XIME.

HR Companies are extremely good that visit the campus. Placements are not all that great. Average placement package for HR is INR 5 Lacs - INR 6 Lacs per annum. For people with work experience, it may maximum go till INR 8 Lacs. Opportunities are extremely good, industry connects are good, and since it is in Bangalore, it shouldn't be an issue to get into a good job. Teaching faculty for HR is also highly qualified, with extreme perfection and industry experienced teachers.

I can only comment on IMT-Hyderabad. The highest package offered for marketing is 11.54 LPA, average 6.71 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. The companies include Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc.

Depends on the people who are in the selected list. Give it some time - a week or two - there are chances of you getting converted. Considering there are people still making a decision to join XIME or not.

Teaching and facility wise, XISS, Ranchi is a better option for HRM. But, XIME-Bangalore has better exposure because of the location of the college and plenty of opportunities.
