It will be as per the calculations done by the college.Percentile will be converted to percentage and then it will be evaluated on 50 as total.It could be possible that percentile may be evaluated to the total value of 50. Here it could be 48

Yes, you may expect a call from XISS for GD and PI. Rural management is good and college offers a lot of practical exposure in this stream . Many NGOs and CSR oriented companies recruit people from the college.Placement is up to 100%.

XISS Ranchi offers better opportunity in HR streams with good package (average).
XIMB offers great learning in terms of operations and marketing.
Though location is in the interiors viz. Jharkhand and Orissa respectively.
8 years ago I got 91%ile in CMAT. 10th- 74.6%, 12th- 85.6%(both from WB board) and grad- 52.27%(Calcutta University). Will I get shortlisted for GD/PI?

Your CMAT score is very good and you also have a good academic record. You will be shortlisted for sure. But during the interview you will have to justify your graduation marks.

If percentile is directly evaluated then it will be 40 out of 50. Else it will be converted to percentage first then evaluated under weight of 50.
