Case of being very weak, take about 2-3 months to get a good grasp of the various topics covered in the XAT. Since XAT happens in January, you have quite a lot of time to prepare. You can spend 2-3 hours on weekdays and double that time

Well, you have not indicated your bachelor's marks. You would have to score around 70% in bachelor's other entrance exams are also considered there. And also, they have their own entrance exam. You need to score in that as well.
