You should have a gentle reason like if there was some serious issue because of which you backed. Else, they will definitely give priorities to a 3 year but yes, keep you score very good to give a good impression in front of faculties.

Overall evaluation has a component of undergraduate marks but if you score well in XAT, then your score in BE would not have too much of an effect on your admission.

Generally, the cut-off for interview call is around 96 percentile for BM, and around 92 percentile for HR course.
